Ossur CTi Carbon Fiber Knee Brace

Ossur CTi Carbon Fiber Knee Brace

$679.99
Short Description

CTi's rigid carbon-fiber frame provides optimal protection and stabilization of the knee joint. With its flexible subshells, CTi comes with off-the-shelf convenience.

The proven technology of the CTi knee brace is available with off-the-shelf convenience, providing adjustability and an excellent out-of-the-box fit while maintaining the level of support and protection that you expect from a CTi knee brace.

Outfitted with anatomically-correct Accutrac® hinges and flexible subshells and d-rings, the rock-solid CTi carbon frame provides a rigid exoskeleton that stabilizes the knee joint. Breathable liners coated with bio-inert Össur Sensil® Silicone ensure CTi OTS remains properly positioned on the leg, for optimal functional benefit.

CTi’s rigid exoskeleton locks onto the tibia to create brace-to-bone contact that’s crucial for maximum stabilization of the knee joint for action sports support or preventing re-injury. The result is reliable stability and support that’s still low-profile, and comfortable, and helps to eliminate brace migration.

CTi Brace Options

Also referred to as our off-the-shelf (OTS) model, CTi comes in a range of 5 frame sizes. Each brace includes a set of condyle pads, wedge pads, and extension stops that can be mixed and matched to achieve the best possible fit. For a truly custom brace, ask your healthcare provider about the CTi Custom.

The standard and Pro Sport models differ only in the amount of carbon fiber used in the frame. The more carbon fiber used, the more rigid the brace. The less carbon fiber used, the lighter the weight. Which option is best for you will depend on your individual body proportions and activity requirements.

1. Standard

The choice of most pro athletes and the best compromise of weight and impact resistance, the CTi standard is the best option for 95% of body types and activity levels. From low-impact lifestyle uses to high-impact applications like motocross and wakeboarding, the standard CTi is built for athletes and casual users alike.

2. ProSport

The most rigid option for the largest of users. ProSport is built with the most carbon fiber to accommodate much larger frames. ProSport wears heavier and more rigid than standard, and will only be applicable to users with larger body mass who require a sturdier brace to avoid migration on more cone-shaped legs and higher durability under strain. Only 5% of users will require this level of rigidity, ideal for support, not for motion.

3. Extra PCL Support

For users with PCL instability, the extra PCL support version of the brace has additional supports for the thigh and calf.
