It is important to heat this product slowly upon initial use to determine how quickly the microwave oven heats the mitt. For initial use, heat for 30 seconds on the high heat setting, shake thoroughly, and then continue heating at 10-second intervals on the high heat setting until the desired temperature is reached. Shake thoroughly after each heating.
