Gentle, amber hue light that is 99.94% free of blue spectrum light to encourage the production of melatonin in the evening and reduce eye strain. A lack of blue light helps melanopsin receptors in the retina signal to the brain that it is time to secrete melatonin in preparation for sleep.

This Hoogalite features a strong, sturdy clamp with scratch-resistant foam pads and a 2.36" maximum bite that can clamp onto anything. With a 360-degree bendable neck, you can customize the lighting angle to best fit your needs. 5 foot-long USB power cord and plug-in wall adapter are included with your Hoogalite purchase.

Day and Night Modes: Day Mode has bright, 5500K white light that is great for lighting up any space. Night Mode has warm, 1600K amber light that is perfect for use in the evenings to reduce eye strain and limit blue light exposure after dark.

Each Mode has two brightness settings of 50% and 100%, which allows for variable brightness levels of 50/100 lumens in Night Mode and 75/150 lumens in Day Mode.

Use this clamp light as an alternative to wearing blue blocker glasses while reading in bed at night. This Hoogalite can also be used as a nightlight for kids that casts a soft, amber light that won’t disturb them while they sleep.
