Dolphin Pediatric Fluid Immersion Simulation System including Mattress and Dolphin Pediatric AutoVector Control Unit

Sale
$33,627.00$29,592.00

Short Description

The Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation (FIS) System is an advanced therapy system designed to provide state-of-the-art pressure redistribution by simulating the effects of a body immersed in a fluid medium. The Dolphin System automatically measures the specific characteristics of the individual patient as they engage the support surface creating an individualized immersion profile that creates a near neutral buoyant state. The Dolphin FIS System delivers three-dimensional volumetric engagement and eliminates gradient shear forces, leading to positive outcomes for flaps, grafts, and pressure ulcers. The Dolphin technology provides minimal tissue deformation, while maintaining near normal blood flow leading to improved tissue perfusion and wound healing.

Key Details:

  • Water Immersion Pain Management: Offer progressive therapy to patients through a revolutionary system that replicates the physical benefits of water immersion. This innovative approach has demonstrated remarkable success in pain management and optimal pressure redistribution, leading to improved blood flow and reduced soft tissue degradation.
  • Wound Treatment: Progressive submersion simulation system effectively treats and prevents wounds
  • Automated: Automatically conforms to each patient's body weight, shape, and repositions.
  • Manual Input Not Required: Does not require manual input
  • Long Battery Life: 12-hour backup battery life guarantees continuous treatment, even in the case of power disconnection or failure
  • Advanced Pressure Redistribution: Provides unmatched pain management with its innovative pressure redistribution

More Features:

The Dolphin FIS Pediatric Mattress offers advanced therapy for patients without them needing to leave their beds. By simulating being submerged in a fluid, it provides unmatched pressure redistribution and pain management, helping to treat and prevent wounds by reducing tissue degradation and promoting better blood flow. Patients with AIDS, arthritis, and undergoing oncology treatment have experienced significant relief with this system.

The therapy control unit operates the mattress automatically, adjusting to each patient's weight, shape, and movements. Monitoring the support surface over 100 times per second, it creates an individualized immersion profile for optimal comfort.

The Dolphin System addresses critical aspects of compromised skin treatment, including pressure redistribution, friction reduction, and shearing forces reduction. It effectively treats conditions like amputations, burns, grafts, flaps, and pressure ulcers, providing excellent pain management for those with AIDS, arthritis, and undergoing oncology treatment.

For added safety, the system alerts with an alarm and LED lights in case of disconnection or power loss. It comes with a rechargeable battery backup, ensuring continuous operation for up to 12 hours during power disruptions or failures.

Specifications:
