The Dolphin FIS (Fluid Immersion Simulation) System from Joerns Healthcare is a progressive therapy system that simulates the effects of a body immersed in a fluid medium. In doing this, it provides exceptional pressure redistribution. This effective pressure redistribution helps to prevent and treat wounds like amputations, burns, grafts, and pressure ulcers. Generally, you can expect a credit or refund, less a restocking and handling fee, in the same form of payment originally used for your purchase. Credits will be issued within 30 days of the manufacturer receiving your returned product back complete and in good, unused condition in original packaging, and them issuing Cura360 an approval. You will be refunded the purchase price, less the Restocking Fee & applicable shipping fees. You are responsible for the return label and shipping costs. 

·       Restocking Fees range based on the Manufacturers policies, typically between 20-30%

·       All returns MUST be pre-approved by Cura360

·       If a return is not received by the carrier within 15 days after the request has been approved, we will consider the item as not returned and a refund will not be processed

·       Shipping costs are not reimbursable

·       Returns due to damage or defect must be reported as soon as possible and pictures may be required

IMPORTANT If there is significant visible damage to the packaging upon receipt, request that the driver note the damage and request a claim be filed with the carrier for damage. You should also immediately contact Cura360 Customer Service at  customerservice@cura360.com or call 833-207-3433

Joerns Healthcare warrants the Dolphin FIS System advanced support surfaces to be sold free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal and proper use, for a period of two (2) years on the advanced support surfaces, and two (2) years on the electromechanical mattress components(compressors, valves, printed circuit boards, hoses, and couplers). Damages arising from improper use will not be covered by this warranty. 

Improper use is defined as, but not limited to, those caused by:

  • Burns
  • Use of improper chemical agents
  • Needle punctures, cuts, or abrasions
  • Excessive loads
  • Staining
  • Negligent or excessive usage
  • Improper maintenance, handling, and/or cleaning
  • Failure to use in the manner indicated in the Dolphin FIS System user manual

Any modification, repair, or alteration done to the Dolphin FIS System that was not authorized in writing by Joerns Healthcare will void this warranty. Damage caused by use in unsuitable environmental conditions, abuse, or failure to maintain the products in accordance with user and service instructions is not covered.This warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the equipment

Parts

Joerns’ Dolphin FIS System contains various parts that are worn for normal use. Joerns Healthcare’sobligation under this warranty is limited to supplying replacement parts, servicing, or replacing, at its option, any product which is found by Joerns to be defective. When requested by Joerns, parts must be returned for inspection at the customer’s expense. Credit will be issued only after inspection.

Service

Most service requests can be handled by the facilityMaintenance Department with assistance from theJoerns Healthcare Product Service Department. 

Most parts requested can be shipped next day air at the customer’s expense. 

Should a technician be required, one will be provided by Joerns Healthcare, at our discretion. Only theJoerns Healthcare Product Service Department can authorized technicians.
