The Catalyst Difference:
Catalyst 5Vx takes advantage of all of the "Catalyst Difference" design features to allow you to fit, adjust and ride with confidence. A defining characteristic of each chair is its axle plate which we will highlight below.
Better Adjustment:
Center of gravity adjustment and ride performance go hand in hand. The redesigned axle plate and rear frame give you 2” (5.08 cm) of the center of gravity adjustment in 1/2” (1.27 cm) increments and 5” (12.7 cm) of rear seat height adjustment over 7 positions. Find your fit, ease your propulsion and optimize the ride you’ve come to expect with Catalyst.
Adjustable Camber:
The Adjustable Camber comes at no charge, giving you up to 4° of camber in 1” increments. A simple adjustment and convenient option provide you with the parts up front so you have everything you need when adjusting or fine-tuning camber later.

300 lbs Standard Weight Capacity:
Weighing in at a mere 13.9 lbs transport weight*, Catalyst 5Vx is the lightest and strongest folding wheelchair on the market with a 300 lbs standard weight capacity! A heavy-duty option is also available.
Swing-In Anti-Tip:
Without sacrificing the compact frame design, the easy-to-activate Swing-In Anti-Tips swing in under the frame so they are there when you need them and gone when you don't. Available in pairs, Left or Right mounting options.
Fender Side Guards:
Choose between carbon fiber and foam-padded aluminum side guards with a fender to protect your clothing from the road while adding a sleek look to your chair.
Transit Wheels:
Integrated into the rear frame for a minimalistic look, Transit Wheels allow you to remove the rear wheels for easier access through narrow spaces. The transit wheels are adjustable across a range of rear wheel and rear seat height combinations.
Front Frame Styles:
Catalyst 5Vx offers the option of a swing-away front end featuring our patented footrests or 70° or 80° fixed frames. The swing-away hangers come in 4 bends (60°, 70°, 80° & 90°) are light and easy to use and so strong we offer a lifetime warranty.
Maxx Mag:
Exclusive to Ki, the magnesium Maxx Mag wheel creates a sleek, modernized look while providing greater stiffness and lower weight than classic nylon composite mag wheels.
Maxx Mag wheels are available in 20”, 22”, and 24”.
Return Policy
This item is non-returnable for one of the following reasons:
- This item is custom-made by the manufacturer to suit your specific needs. Please review all specifications carefully before placing your order. Once production of your item has begun – the order is unable to be canceled.
- For hygienic safety and per FDA regulations this item is non-returnable, even if unused.
- Please inspect your product upon delivery. If the product is damaged or is not the correct product, please refuse the delivery. If your item was delivered without a signature and is damaged or incorrect please call Cura360 Customer Service.
Ki Mobility warrants the frame, cross braces, hangers and quick-release axles of your Catalyst wheelchair against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser. All other parts and components of this wheelchair are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of first consumer purchase. The expected life of the frame is five years.
Limitations to the Warranty
1. We do not warrant: a. Wear items: Upholstery, tires, armrest pads, tubes, armrests and push-handle grips. b. Damage resulting from neglect, misuse or from improper installation or repair. c. Damage from exceeding weight limit.
2. This warranty is VOID if the original chair serial number tag is removed or altered.
3. This warranty is VOID if the original chair has been modified from its original condition and it is determined the modification resulted in failure.
4. This warranty applies in the USA only. Check with your supplier to find out if international warranties apply. Ki Mobility’s Responsibility Ki Mobility’s only liability is to replace or repair, at our discretion, the covered parts. There are no other remedies, expressed or implied.
Your Responsibility a. Notify Ki Mobility, via an authorized supplier, prior to the end of the warranty period and get a return authorization (RA) for the return or repair of the covered parts. b. Have the supplier send the authorized return, freight pre-paid, to:
